Living Earth Collaborative

The Living Earth Collaborative at Washington University in St. Louis is dedicated to advancing the knowledge of biodiversity and to ensuring the future of earth’s species in their many forms. The Living Earth Collaborative serves as a hub to facilitate interdisciplinary research among plant and animal biologists and other scholars across a wide range of fields, bringing together the world’s leading scholars in the field of biodiversity to address the most pressing issue facing humankind today — the ability to sustain life on Earth. The center was launched in early 2018 under the direction of internationally renowned scholar Jonathan Losos. Washington University, the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Saint Louis Zoo are working in partnership to advance the center’s mission.
