Lana Kelly Hilliard
Assistant Dean of Advising, College of Arts & Sciences
Lana is an assistant dean of advising in the College of Arts & Sciences. She was raised in St. Louis and earned her Bachelors of Science in Journalism at Missouri State University, her Master of Arts in Higher Education as well as Ph.D. in Higher Education and Women and Gender Studies from Saint Louis University. She loves advising students and teaching. She has worked as an academic advisor for over 10 years (with nearly 16 years of higher education experience) and has taught classes in Women and Gender Studies as well as English as a Second Language and First Year Seminar courses.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and son. Lana also loves to read, write, and develop trivia games.
