Trevor Sangrey

Teaching Professor, Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies
College Faculty Fellow, Ampersand and First-Year Programs

Trevor is a Teaching Professor in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department with an affiliation in the Global Studies Program and is College Faculty Fellow for Ampersand and First-Year Programs in the College of Arts & Sciences. Trevor really enjoys wearing both hats (really, all hats) and is particularly interested in helping to develop first-year curriculum. After earning a PhD from the History of Consciousness Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz, Trevor has worked on US social movements with a specialty in race, class, gender, and sexuality and currently serves on the campus-wide LGBT Advisory Board.  Growing up out West, Trevor needs to go to the high desert mountains at least once a year and prefers hot weather to the cold. While stress baking, the favorite kitchen tool is a whisk closely followed by an off-set spatula, as both are good for stirring things up.
