Our liberal arts curriculum prepares you to contribute to a vibrant and just society and to thrive in the professional worlds of business, education, law, medicine, government, and non-profit industries. Advising for Internships

Your liberal arts education and experience combine to open doors to a first job and lifelong career success in the fluid and dynamic twenty-first-century job market. Oftentimes, experiences within and outside of the classrom can help you find direction and purpose. Advising for Fellowships

A number of students in Arts & Sciences are well suited for fellowships and scholarships providing advanced undergraduate and/or post-graduate study. Fellowship Advising provides one-on-one advising for students interested in competitive International or Domestic Fellowships including the Rhodes and Marshall, but also the Boren, Beinecke, and Fulbright. We also nominate students for special opportunities available for advanced undergraduate or graduate study and/or research. Opportunities include but are not limited to the Udall, Voyager, or Goldwater.

Applying to Grad School Workshop Series

Working on a grad school application? Dr. Allan Davis, assistant dean in the College Office, is hosting a series of workshops called "Applying to Grad School." With topics highlighting timelines and letters of recommendations, to statements of intent and resume/CVs, as well as interview day prep and next steps, students will get practical advice to plan their path and work on grad school application materials.
All workshops will be held in Cupples II, McLeod Conference Room.

Statement of Intent and Resume/CVs
Join us Monday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. to refine your story in documents that introduce who you are and what you want to accomplish.

Interview Day Prep and Next Steps
Join us Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. or Monday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. to plan what you want to learn and accomplish during interviews.
