You might have spotted members of our Student Health Ambassador (SHA) team on campus this week. More than 100 Arts & Sciences undergrads have agreed to work with fellow students to help ensure universal masking and physical distancing are happening across campus. SHAs can also help if you need extra supplies like face masks and hand sanitizer.
You can spot them in their yellow shirts — which were designed by WashU student Helen Xiu, inspired by Stan Braude, professor of the practice of biology, and produced by an A&S alumna-led company. Chelsea Petersen, assistant athletic director for external relations, has been training SHAs to make sure they are all aware of recommended policies and procedures.
