Professor Dzuback explores the history of knowledge production and gender in higher education.

Her current project focuses on women scholars in social sciences between 1890 and 1940, what they contributed to the development of social sciences in the United States, how they used their research to shape public policy, and how their research agendas transformed universities' and colleges' knowledge production and institutional cultures.

Dzuback teaches courses in intellectual history of feminisms and feminist research methodologies.
