Jenny Givens

Jenny grew up in North St. Louis County, attended Incarnate Word Academy, and then UMSL where she received a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. After college, Jenny taught second grade at a private school in Normandy, where she learned the art of helping students from all backgrounds and getting them what they needed despite their limitations. She continued at UMSL, earning a master’s degree in Educational Administration, and after two years in an administrative role, joined the WashU community. She has a passion for serving others, especially those in marginalized communities. She hopes to grow that passion during her time at Washington University and bring a different perspective to those with whom she works.
Outside of work, Jenny can be found watching movies, taking a walk, or going to Half-Price Books with her husband, Zach, and son, Jason.
