Deirdre Maitre

Filmmaker in Residence Deirdre “Dede” Maitre received her MFA in Film & Media Arts from Temple University with an emphasis of study in narrative and documentary. Her work has aired on local and national television and throughout the international festival circuit. Notable selections include New Directors / New Films (MoMA and The Lincoln Center), Mill Valley International Film Festival,  LA Film Festival, Dublin International, Berlin Short Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Denver Starz, Chicago International Film Festival and Cinemigrante Buenos Aires with positive reviews from IndieWire, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wall Street Journal, Screen Daily, Filmmaker Magazine and Film Journal International. She has taught filmmaking at the university-level for over 10 years.
