Thank you for your interest in the Arts & Sciences student photo competition! The competition is held annually each spring, usually in late March. The top three winners are selected by a committee of in-house experts and receive prizes or gift certificates. The winning entry will be published in the Ampersand and prominently featured on our website. Other entries may also be featured in our print and/or digital communications. All Arts & Sciences students may enter this competition. Multiple submissions are welcome.
Wondering what photo to submit? We love seeing student activities, student groups, dorm activities, campus events, classroom activities, and more. Research, study abroad memories, field work and moments from your life off campus are welcome too. Anything that stands out to you as having a fun, meaningful, or defining experience for you as a student at WashU. Don’t forget to add a caption or anecdote to accompany the photo! We need you to identify your location, everyone in the photo and the story behind it.
