Krystal Pollard

Krystal Pollard joined Washington University in St. Louis on November 2023, and currently serves as the Academic and Administrative Coordinator and Graduate Program Assistant for the Department of History. In her role, she supports undergraduate and graduate programs through course management, faculty and student support, communications, and website administration.

Originally from St. Louis, Krystal began her professional career in the culinary arts after earning a degree from Le Cordon Bleu. Her work took her to Walt Disney World and Block Island, Rhode Island, before she transitioned into customer support and administrative roles in 2016. Before joining the History Department, she served as the Academic and Administrative Coordinator for Children's Studies, Medical Humanities, and A&S Computing at WashU.

Outside of her role, Krystal is a student in WashU’s Continuing & Professional Studies (CAPS) program, pursuing an Associate in Arts degree and an Undergraduate Certificate in Leadership and Organizational Development. In 2026, she was selected to serve on the Danforth Staff Council. She enjoys reading, gaming, traveling, and creative hobbies.
